Enter Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun. I’ve seen so many posts about this online, and I bet you have too. I had to find out for myself if this Korean skincare product was worth the buzz! Here’s what I think and if I would buy this sunscreen again.

Another thing that I like about the Beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics is the lack of white cast. Visible white cast is a common complaint with many sunscreens on the market, especially for those with deeper skin tones.
Now, onto how it feels on the skin. So, I have oily skin, so I’m quite sensitive to things feeling heavy or greasy – but I am pleasantly impressed with how lightweight the beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF 50 feels!
That’s especially considering the BOJ sunscreen formula doesn’t contain alcohol, a common ingredient added to skincare to make it feel lighter on the skin. If I wanted to, I could skip moisturiser and go straight to wearing this sunscreen, but it also feels great over moisturiser too.

Yes. That’s why it has no white cast! It’s formulated with four chemical sunscreen filters that don’t leave your skin looking pasty. These four filters are rated to provide extremely high levels of sun protection.
Beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun Rice Probiotics: Pros & Cons
Now, let’s discuss the pros and cons, as no product is without them!
The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun impresses with its moisturising properties, leaving the skin feeling nourished without that greasy, heavy sensation that some sunscreens often leave behind. It’s formulated with a bunch of great ingredients to really ensure that your skin feels and looks good.
Another pro is the light, lotion-y texture that’s perfect for reapplying throughout the day, a must-do for adequate sun protection to prevent dark spots and sun damage.
On the flip side, while the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun does a fantastic job balancing moisture with sun protection, it’s not exactly a mattifying sunscreen. If you have very oily skin, you might notice a slight shine.
It’s not EXTREMELY shiny and dewy, but it leaves a finish that’s not matte by any means. If you have oily skin, you may prefer to set it with a powder.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that it also takes a moment to sink in, requiring a little bit more coaxing than other sunscreens to truly settle into my skin.
Is Beauty Of Joseon Sun Relief Good For Sensitive Skin?
Yes. This moisturising sunscreen is alcohol and fragrance-free. It’s also formulated with ingredients such as Niacinamide to minimise irritation and redness.
