I’ve got some blingy nail art today using some rhinestones from Lady Queen store. The particular ones I’ve used today are from the 300pc wheel.
In addition to the rhinestones, I received some wax pencils which came in very helpful for placing the stones on my nails, especially the smaller, more finicky ones.
Since I’d never used rhinestones before, I wanted to go all out with a super blingy mani. In hindsight, using rhinestones of all one size would have been better on the index finger. I wanted to go super girly and pastel, so I used Essie Borrowed & Blue and OPI Mod About You. For the silver accent nail, I went with OPI It’s Frosty Outside and Which is Witch?
I stuck the rhinestones on using top coat, and I found that going over them with more topcoat to seal them definitely dulled their sparkle, so I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m still pretty proud of my first rhinestone mani, and can’t wait to incorporate these into more nail art!
